Account Management
2.1. Companies
With Verikor, different companies can be managed from a single panel.
Registered companies are listed here, displaying details such as GUID, company name, sector, country, and creation date.
By clicking the 'Column View' button, you can customize which properties are displayed in the columns according to your preference.
To update company information, select the desired company and click the 'Update' button to open the editing screen.
The list of companies can be exported as an Excel spreadsheet using the 'Export to Excel' button.
2.2. Users
Account Management > Adding users to the system, grouping by any column, filtering, searching, and management operations can be performed via the Users screen.
User Creation
When creating a user, they can optionally be assigned to existing user groups. If a user group is mapped to an authorization role, users assigned to that group automatically inherit the relevant permissions.
User Definition Methods
- Manual Addition: By entering user information via the form on the Management Panel.
For this process, first click the "New" button in the Users section. Fill in the Name, Surname, Username, and E-mail fields on the page that opens. Then, select the specific company for which the user is being created from the company options. Optionally, the user can also be assigned to existing user groups. To do this, click the icon at the top right of the User Group section, make a selection from the list, and then save and close. Define a password for the user in the Password section and click the "Save" button to complete the process.
- Active Directory (AD) Integration: If Active Directory integration is defined, users are automatically transferred to the system based on determined rules.
Users imported from AD are marked as Record Type: AD in the panel, while manually added users appear as Form.
The Deleted and Locked columns indicate whether a user has been deleted or locked. Deleted, Locked, or Unauthorized users cannot log in to the system.
2.3. User Groups
User Groups are the fundamental tool for managing user permissions in the system. All authorization operations are performed via user groups. Therefore, user groups form the basis of role-based access control.
Access
To access user groups:
Account Management -> Follow the User Groups menu.
User Group Creation
When creating a new group; enter the group name in the name field, select an authorization group from the top-right area to access the user list, then select the users to be assigned to the group and save.
Group-Authorization Relationship
Each user group can be mapped to one or more Authorization Groups (Roles). Consequently, all users included in the group inherit access rights based on the mapped authorization roles. Permissions are granted only through groups, not directly to users.
Multiple Group Assignment
A single user can be assigned to multiple user groups. In this case: All permissions the user inherits from the groups are merged. In conflicting situations, the most comprehensive (broadest) permission level takes precedence.
2.4. Authorization Roles
The Authorization module is one of the most critical components of the Verikor Management Panel. All access control within the system is managed through this section on a user group basis.
Access
Account Management -> It is accessed by following the Authorization Roles menu.
Creating an Authorization Group (Role)
Access permissions for specific modules are defined by creating a new authorization group. This authorization group is then mapped to one or more user groups.
Summary of Process Steps:
- Create a new authorization group.
- Select the modules to grant access to (based on read/write permissions).
- Define the user groups to be included in the authorization group.
- Authorization operations are performed only through user groups, not directly to the user.
Modular Access Hierarchy
The authorization system operates based on page hierarchy:
- Even if access is granted to a sub-page of a module, the user cannot see the sub-page in the menu if access is not defined for the parent module.
-
However, the sub-page can still be accessed directly via URL.
Therefore, except for exceptional cases, permissions should be defined from top to bottom.
2.5. Authorization Control
Account Management -> It is accessible via the Authorization Control menu.
- User-based: You can list which modules a specific user has access to.
- Module-based: Thanks to the "Module Group" filter, all users with access permission to a specific module can be displayed.
In this way, access audits can be performed from both the user and module perspectives.
